Synthetic Lubricant and Sealant

Liquid-0-Ring 404SYN, the only premium, synthetic lubricant and sealant made with LIQUILON®, is an improved PTFE resin which services temperatures to 400°F (204°C) and pressures to 10,000 psi. 404SYN's processing and formulation enable it to provide a versatility not found in conventional lubricants, and it may be used as a thread sealant

on brass, aluminum, copper, and stainless steel, as well as conventional steel threads.

404SYN is made with LIQUILON® which is inert and unaffected by acids, oils, caustics, aviation gasoline, and common solvents and displays one of the lowest

coefficients of friction and antistick properties of any known material. Because 404SYN is synthetic based, it offers extreme pressure and antifretting characteristics and a wider temperature range than most hydrocarbon base lubricants. 404SYN gives long-lasting protection to coated parts, which keeps equipment in top operating condition.

404SYN is recommended for the lubrication requirements of equipment which must be operated over extended periods of time or where shut downs are prohibitive.

Equipment wear will be reduced by the unique plating and coating ability which provides a residual lubrication film that eliminates metal-to-metal contact and prevents

rust and corrosion.

APPLICATION:

The uses of 404SYN are varied. In general, 404SYN may be applied to threaded connections, non metallic gaskets, gear boxes, and as a pump and valve packing.
